In 1980 Peter joined Ozannes and specialises in capital markets, banking, trusts and offshore funds and is Head of Ozannes' Corporate. He was Chairman of the panel appointed by the States of Guernsey to review the machinery of Government in Guernsey.  In February 2006 Peter was appointed chairman of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.

CV: Head of Ozannes' Trusts. St John took a double first from Emmanuel College, Cambridge, before pursuing an academic career in law. He then practised in Jersey for seven years before joining Ozannes in 1994. St John specialises in trust disputes and issues relating to Guernsey taxation. He has appeared in most of the leading Guernsey trust cases of recent years and is a frequent contributor to journals, books and conferences. St John was a member of The States of Guernsey Legislation Committee 2002-2004 and in 2004 was elected to The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law.
